Weekend

This weekend we just kind of hung around the Harbor. Friday we stayed up late to watch the Gamecocks play and oh what a game. I wanted to go to sleep so bad, but I couldn't stop watching the game, it was awesome. We can't wait to watch the Gamecocks in the finals! Saturday Daddy had to go away to Ohio so me and Bella stayed home. I was supposed to go to NC to see my friend Julia get married. However, since Daddy had to go away for work I couldn't go. I have seen some pictures and Julia was a beautiful bride!! I wish her and Zach the best. Since I was here I was able to go to my friend Lindsay's bridal shower. We had a good time, it was Bella's first girls party. She had fun and got all dressed up. That evening we went over to my cousin Melissa's house and hung out. We played cards, hung out with Aunt Frances who was visiting and ate some delicious shrimp and grits.

On Sunday we got the best visitors! Aunt Dee, Uncle Chris and Bella's cousins Brooke, Jason, and Morgan came to visit. Morgan is only 6 weeks younger than Bella. Chris and Dee are moving to Iowa, so before they moved they are taking a little time to visit with family. We are so glad they stopped in to see us. We had a great time. The kids enjoyed swimming at our pool. Sunday night Aunt Dee and I had mommy's night out. We enjoyed a quick dinner and then headed over to see Wicked at the Kennedy center. It was AWESOME!! I have wanted to see if for years and never have. I would love to go again. Now I feel like I need to watch Wizard of Oz to see how all the pieces fit together. I highly recommend everyone to see Wicked!

Fathers Day

I know this is a little late, but needed to do a post about Father's Day. We spent father's day up in PA! Bella's Pop has been having some back problems so we wanted to go up to spend some time with him. Bella also got to go swimming and hang out with her cousins! Before we left, we had some special time with Daddy. Bella got her Daddy a few presents and a sweet card that we opened before we left. Bella is so lucky to have the best Daddy in the world. He is so good with her and loves Bella sooooo much. I think if he could he would be a stay at home Daddy so he could be with his girl all the time. It was very fun to celebrate Fran's first father's day. I am truly so lucky to have him as my husband, but more importantly as Bella's Daddy! She is one blessed little girl. We look forward to many more Father's Days!

4 Year Anniversary!

Last Thursday was our 4 year anniversary! I can't believe it has been 4 years. We are having so much fun together, even more now that we have Bella in our lives! We honestly can't remember our lives without her. Actually it was on our anniversary last year that we found out I was pregnant, so it is even more of a special day now.

Unfortunately, I was out of town for work on our anniversary, but I wanted to do something to let Fran know I was thinking about him since I was missing our special day. He has a favorite pizza place over by his office, so I had my girlfriend go and pick up a pizza for him and put it on his desk. He was having a super busy day, so I knew that he would not be taking the time to eat lunch. When I called the pizza place they said "do you want us to make the pizza in the shape of a heart?" and I was like "YES!!". So anyway they created the cutest pizza and on the box I had my friend print a picture of Bella with a little note. Fran was very suprised and really enjoyed the pizza! I was supposed to get in to DC that evening at 7:30, but after sitting on the runway for 2 hours in Nashville, I didn't get home until 11:30, so we didn't get to even celebrate with a late dinner. However, Fran suprised me with a Saturday date to see Rascal Flatts! We had the best time and really enjoyed ourselves. We had a great anniversary and we can't wait for many more!

The pizza, LOL!

Bella tries Rice Cereal

Last week I decided to try and give Bella some rice cereal via spoon, hilarious! She didn't really love it as you will see in the video. So for right now, we are just giving it to her in a bottle at night and we will go from there!

You said this stuff is good??

Seemed to happen after every bite!

4 Months

Again, sorry for the delay, but Bella turned 4 months old on June 9th! I can't believe it. She is such a joy to be around. She is really starting to develop her own little personality. Bella really enjoys talking, smiling and laughing. She also wants to chew on everything in sight! I don't really have her stats for you, as Daddy took her for her appointment, because Mommy was out of town for work, and he forgot! LOL! Oh well, next time! He did remember that the doctor said we could start her on rice cereal and some solids. The doctor said you would know if she was ready for solids if she is now watching us while we eat, and the answer to that is yes! She definitely watches me when I eat like "mom can I have some." It's funny! So I will keep you posted on that adventure!

Bella's First Trip to the Beach

Well this post is long overdue, but Bella just took her first trip to the beach a couple weeks ago. Bella and I went down on Wednesday with the rest of the family and then Fran flew in first thing Friday morning because he had to work. Bella loved the beach! I think she definitely liked the ocean water because it was warm. She loved to sit outside on the patio and feel the breeze in her hair. Bella was such a sweet baby while we were there. She would play and enjoy what she was doing and then she would settle down very easily and take naps either in her stroller or in the little tent we had set up on the beach. It was really cute! We had a great time with all of our family. We enjoyed long days on the beach and at the pool, and evenings filled with good food, drinks, and lot's of laughs! Bella especially enjoyed hanging out with her cousins. Kylie is just 3 weeks younger than Bella, so it was really cute to see them together. I wish we were still there, but I am sure another trip to the beach will come along again soon! Forgive me for all the pictures, it was hard to just pick a few, haha!

Ashley's Shower

A couple weeks ago some friends and family hosted a shower for Ashley, my best friend! We had a great time and she had an awesome turnout and got lot's of great gifts. We are so excited for her precious baby Hampton to get here. Bella can't wait to meet him. Especially, since we have already decided they will have an arranged marriage, haha. Ashley only has about 5 more weeks left, if that. She is on the homestretch. Here are some pictures from that day! Love you Ashley!

We are still here!

Okay sorry I haven't posted in a long time, we have been busy busy! I still have some stuff to post from Memorial Day, geez. Since then, we had a baby shower for my best friend Ashley, went to the beach, and Bella turned 4 months old. So I have lot's of fun pictures to share! Until then, here is a picture of Bella in her bikini on our beach trip!
