11 Months!

It is so hard to believe that Bella is 11 months! She is almost a big 1 year old, yikes! This year has flown by but it has been so fun and I have loved every minute. So Bella at 11 Months, what do you like and what are you doing:
  • Walking/Running-you are very fast
  • Very curious about everything
  • You love us to chase you around the house
  • Feeding yourself
  • Drinking out of your big girl cup with a straw
  • Playing with your babies, you carry them around and pat them on the back
  • Reading books, you bring it to me then scoot back and sit in my lap yourself
  • Playing with your tupperware cabinet in the kitchen
  • Skyping with Mimi and Papa
  • Running up and down the halls
  • Going on wagon rides
  • Trying to put hats and headbands on your head
  • Grabbing shoes out of your shoe drawer and trying to put them on
  • You love Macaroni and Cheese!
  • Saying "Mama"
  • Making a fun scrunching your nose and making a funny sniffing noise
  • Getting into everything you are not supposed to
  • Love bath time
  • Walking around in your diaper and slapping your belly, you think it's so funny
  • DANCING! You especially love dancing to "Baby" by Beiber
Okay well that is all I can think of right now....enjoy our 11 month chair pics! It's certainly hard to get Bella to sit still these days!

Juice Box & Mount Vernon

Since Bella really likes drinking from a straw, I decided to let her try a juice box this weekend. She did pretty good. After squeezing it a few times and making a mess, she got the hang of it and was carrying it around, drinking out of it. We still need some work, but she was really cute and loved holding her own drink!

This Saturday we took Bella to Mount Vernon to see George Washington's house. Fran had taken Bella in the fall and said she loved it, so I couldn't wait to go with them. We had so much fun, it was a beautiful day and Bella loved running around the front lawn of his house. She also wanted to try and eat everything she picked off the ground...grass, leaves, you name it. Here are some pictures from our weekend!

Lovey? Check! Juice Box? Check!

Such a big girl!

Poconos & New Years!

We headed up to the Poconos for a few days after Christmas to enjoy some quiet, relaxing time! It was different going in the winter as we couldn't go out on the lake or sit by the pool, but we had fun just hanging out inside, going shopping and enjoying the community center! We took Bella swimming in a swimmy diaper and a onesie, as we didn't bring her bathing suit. It was really cute. For New Year's Eve we headed to the Mount Airy Casino right down the road from the mountain house. We decided it would be fun to get out and do something with Bella for New Year's Eve. We had a delicious New Year's Eve Champagne buffet. Bella was quite the star, everyone kept talking to her and stuff. She loved it. She enjoyed her first trip to a casino, haha. On New Year's Day Bella enjoyed her first spaghetti dinner. As you can see most of it ended up everywhere other than her mouth. Happy New Year Everyone!!

Bella's First Christmas

We had the best Christmas! We packed up and drove down to SC on the Friday before Christmas. When we got down there we took Bella to see Santa. Needless to say she really didn't seem too excited. We were trying to get her to smile and she just stared at us like we were crazy, haha. Anyway, we were able to get some cute pictures! On Christmas Eve, we headed over to my Dad's house and spent the day. We had a great time and Bella got so many cool toys. She was throughly entertained while we were there. She didn't know what to do with all her new toys. On Christmas morning, Bella didn't know what to think about all the toys Santa had left her. She just sat there in front of everything and looked around for a minute, before making a mad dash to her toy of choice. Her morning was full of playing and enjoying all of her new stuff. We opened our presents while she played with all her toys. She could have cared less about her presents that were actually wrapped, haha, maybe next year. While we were home we got to spend lot's of time with all of our family and friends and it was great! We are so blessed to have the best family friends! The best present we could ever get is Bella, so seeing the joy in her eyes is all we will ever need during the holiday season! While we were in SC, we also went with Bella's buddies Hampton and Tanner to see the ZooLights. She really liked it. Bella also took her first ride on a carousel! After we left SC, we headed up to PA to go to Fran's family Christmas party at Aunt Lynne's house. We had such a great time. It was so nice to see everyone and we enjoyed some really yummy food! We sure did travel alot over Christmas, but it was great to be able to see everyone! We had so much fun with Bella this Christmas and we can't wait for many more to come! Enjoy all the pictures, I took ALOT!

ICE & 10 Months

First of all, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone!! Second of all, so sorry for not blogging in a while, we have been all over the place for the holidays. We headed down to SC, then back home, then to Philadelphia, to the Poconos and then finally back home on Sunday! So needless to say I have not really had time to sit down and write any posts. However, I am about to do like 3 in a row, so hang on!

Bella turned 10 months old on February 17th! We can't believe she is only 2 months shy of being a 1 year old. Yikes! Bella started taking a few steps here and there when she turned 10 months. Now she is walking EVERYWHERE. It really started over Christmas. Bella continues to be a very happy girl and she loves playing and going outside. She also continues to love food, she will eat anything. We have been giving her real food to try, not that baby food is not real, but you know what I mean. She loves to feed herself! And along with feeding herself comes a huge mess. Here is Bella's 10 month pic!

The week before Christmas we had a great visit from our brother & sister-in law, Dan & Jojo and their cute twins, Julius & Naomi, who are now 5. They came down on Wednesday midday and we hung out at the Harbor. We all went to lunch, went to see ICE Merry Madagascar, hung out around the Gaylord Hotel and then met up with more family for a pizza dinner. On Thursday we all enjoyed a buffet breakfast and then did a scavenger hunt with the kids! We throughly enjoyed their visit. Before we walked into ICE, we watched a short video and Bella fell asleep in her Bjorn with Daddy, but as soon as we walked in ICE, which is only 9 degrees, the draft of cold air woke her up, poor baby. However, she enjoyed looking around at all the cool stuff!

Asleep...

All bundled up with Daddy!

ICE was really awesome this year!
