Bella's 2nd Attempt in the Pool

So as I said in my earlier post, we were going to try the pool again today. Well...SUCCESS! Bella loved it. This time I kind of sprinkled some of the water on her legs to get her used to it (duh, good job mom, why didn't you try that yesterday??). After a few minutes of that, I lowered her in the pool and she loved it, didn't cry once, well until she was bored with it, haha. We played in the pool for quite some time and then we went and relaxed with some of my friends on the chairs. Needless to say after swimming and watching the kids play in the pool, Bella was tired, so she feel right to sleep in my lap. I put her back in the stroller and she just looked so uncomfortable, so I laid her in my chair and she took a nice little nap! We look forward to many more pool days together! Memorial Day Weekend

We have had a great Memorial Day weekend so far! Yesterday we finally went shopping for some new patio furniture! I think we have found what we are going to get at Pier 1 Imports, but the good news is the lady told us everything would go on sale Tuesday, so we are going to check back then. We went for a few walks outside and then just enjoyed spending time with our girl. We did take her to the pool, as you saw in the earlier post. I am going to give it another try as I don't think I gave her long enough to get over the water being cold, haha. This morning we went to Harrington's Irish Pub in our neighborhood for Brunch. As you can see below, while Bella played in her car seat while we enjoyed some yummy food! This afternoon while Bella and Daddy took a nap, I went shopping for some teething stuff. Bella has really been teething over the past couple days. She is acting a little fussy and she is not sleeping as good. She doesn't like wake up crying but we have to give her a paci for her to fall back to sleep. No biggie, but we want to make her more comfortable so I bought a bunch of teething toys and some orajel for night and day. We are probably going to go outside and enjoy this beautiful day here in a little bit, but for now enjoy all of these random pictures of Bella. I personally love the pouty face picture the best, haha!

This weekend we decided to put on Bella's bathing suit and see how she liked the pool. I think you can tell from the pictures below! She loved sitting by the pool watching the kids play, but once those feet hit the water...it was all over!

Bella's trip to work with Daddy

So Bella went to work with Daddy for a little while today. While they were there, someone was giving a tour to Joe Mantegna. He is an actor and has been in a lot of great movies and is currently on the TV show Criminal minds. I remembered him from the movie "Baby's Day Out", loved that movie! Anyway, he stopped by the VP's office and held miss Bella for a little bit. How sweet! Here is a picture of the actor in case you don't know who I am talking about.

Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone. So on Sunday Miss Bella was running a little fever for the first time, scary. It went away on Sunday and then came back on Monday, so I called the doctor. They wanted me to bring her in, just because the only accurate way they say to take baby's temperature is rectally. I was not about to do that, haha. Anyway, I took her in and she was fine. They checked her all out and they said just to check her temp and if got to 100.4 to give her some tylenol and go from there. While we were there, she got weighed and she is 16 lbs. 8 oz! WOW!! Our Bella is growing so fast! So I took a picture of her that day while she was doing raspberries, her most favorite thing to do, and she just looked super chubby so I had to share! She may be mad I posted this one, haha.

My first "Parent's Not Home Party"

Hey this is Bella! This week I hosted my first ever "Parent's Not Home Party" and it turned out great! My Mommy and Daddy had to go away for work so I got my Nana, Pop and 5 of my cousins to come over and spend the night with me. My Aunt Re also came over to join in the fun. I showed them all my cool toys, took them over to the Gaylord to see my favorite water fountain show and also went walking on the pier to show them the beautiful sunset. I hope they will all come back and spend the night again soon. I missed Mommy and Daddy but also had a lot of fun with my cousins! Here are some pictures Nana took from their visit:

So last week Mommy and Daddy both had to leave town for work, boo! I had to leave for 3 nights whereas Daddy only had to leave for one night, but we both missed our girl terribly! She was in good hands though, I am going to do a post about her fun slumber party soon! Here are a couple pics from Saturday night when we were back home snuggling with our Bella!

3 Months

Well this post is about 3 days late, as Bella turned 3 months old last Thursday! I can't believe she is 3 months old already, time really does fly by. So what is Miss Bella up to these days...well she loves to suck on her fingers and hands. Any chance she can get she has those hands in her mouth, it's really funny. Bella really enjoys sitting in her bumbo and playing on her activity mat. She is starting to grab on to stuff, so the activity mat is fun for her as when she grabs stuff it makes noises! We heard her laugh for the first time on May 10th!! It was the cutest thing. It happened when she was laying on her Daddy's lap and he was taking her feet and touching them to her face...seems crazy and like it would hurt but she absolutely loves it. I caught a bit of it on video. I will upload soon! Bella is really growing! I think she has to be at least 14 lbs. now. She eats great! We have her on a pretty good schedule. She is eating every 4 hours, 4 times a day! We can't wait to take her in for her 4 month check up (minus the shots) to see how big she is! I feel like she has grown in length quite a bit too! Bella is sleeping awesome as well. Mommy and Daddy are loving that. Well here are a couple pictures of her on her 3 month birthday:

Visit with Isa

Yesterday I went to visit with my friend Hillary and her new baby girl Isa. Hillary and I went to high school together and played softball together. She lives in Bethesda, which is not too far, so nice to have her close by! Isa is 3 weeks old and is so precious! She is so little compared to miss chunky monkey Bella...it's hard to believe Bella used to be that tiny. Here are some pictures from our visit:

Sweet Suprise and Bella's new shades

When I was walking to our condo this afternoon after dropping off a couple fed ex packages for work, I saw the most beautiful flowers in front of our door. I had no idea who they could be from, so I was very excited to read the note. Well needless to say the note brought me to tears and you will see why below, as I enclosed a picture of the note, so sweet!!! I am one lucky mommy.
